Organic Lifestlye Workshop at 45rpm SOHO

We had the Organic Lifestyle Workshop at 45rpm SOHO.

In the morning, Asaka and I went to the Green market at Union Square to get some fresh vegetables to display.

Vegetables in the 45's Eco-bag which was specially dyed with vegetables.

This time Hideyo Yamada, the Holistic Chef prepared the organic foods for the event.

We had various organic vegetables with healthy dip sauces, vegetarian sushi rolls, and wakame miso soup.

We served organic drinks including Organic Rose Wine from Napa, Organic Sake (Tentaka) from Japan, and Organic Coffee etcs.

For the dessert, we enjoyed Organic Carrot Cake Doughnuts made by Doughnut Plant in NYC!

I gave a lecture about Organic Cotton, Organic Food, and Organic Lifestyle.

After that, Hideyo showed us how to make Miso soup. Her demondtration was very clear and easy to understand.
Then I explained about the benefit of Miso and how to choose "healing" Miso.

The purple cloth I wore at the workshop was made of organic cotton and dyed with grapes!

You can find many organic & natural clothings at 45rpm.

I recommend you the new items of Autumn which are dyed with vegetables and flowers. They are just beautiful!!

Please come to the shop and check how they are facinating!

seasonal Okra

I made a simple side dish of okra.

This is very easy and delicious!

You can add dried bonito and soy sauce to sliced okra.

I used the okra grown on my father's organic farm.

These are still soft, but they're growing up and getting bigger.
I'm afraid that they become too hard to eat, if we leave them too long...(;´Д`)ノ

Vegetables have good time to eat.

In the case of an okra, if they grow too much, they become so hard with too much fiber that it is difficult in cooking and eating.
I like eating food as long as they taste good.
And it means eating seacsonal food is the best way!
